It's best that way: Short and sweet.

Watching the leaves dance in circles,
The wind sharing her secrets?
Could only wonder.

Frozen fingers, toes and nose.
Flushed cheeks, kissed pink.
Winter winds.

Silvery moon hangs,
from a naked branch.
The night is young.

He said,
“Forever” -
That feels like falling,
all over again.

A tear, a pout -
a cookie to smile.
End of pain;
That was then.

Object lies still,
drawn by light and shadows,
within a frame.

When love makes me rant

In your love,
my soul is a butterfly,
Winged, coloured and in flight;
Shaped by winds of time,
dancing to the moments, with music at the back.
Those colours, across seas of hope,
over the skies, that is, dreams -
they become you, and you,
become me.
